A: Yes! All of the doctors are Board-Certified with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS.)
A: Yes, we will be happy to file all insurance claims. We do however ask for payment at the time of service and your insurance company will reimburse you..
A: A tooth which has not or will not properly erupt into the oral cavity. Most commonly they are wisdom teeth.  (More Info...)
A: It depends on the type of surgery that you are having, but in general between 1 hour and 1 1/2 hours.
A: You must have a responsible adult with you if you are receiving IV anesthesia/sedation medications as they will alter your LEVEL OF AWARENESS and therefore impair your ability to drive. This affect can last up to 24 hours after your surgery.
A: Your ride must be available to keep you company in our recovery rooms and to hear your instructions as you may not remember much of what is said following surgery.
A: Food or liquids may cause vomiting during the procedure.
A: Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery encompasses the art and science of diagnosis, surgical and related treatment of diseases, defects and esthetic aspects of the oral and maxillofacial area. The word "maxillofacial" refers to the jaw and face.
A: We have a 24 hour answering service that can page the doctor "on call" if you should have a problem post-operatively.
